Beacon’s Bad Pun Cider



3 ounces local apple cider
1 ounce Denning’s Point Beacon Bourbon
2 ounces Bad Seed Cider’s Ginga Roots hard cider
Pinch of brown sugar
1 small red apple
4-5 cinnamon sticks, crushed
1/2 whole nutmeg, crushed




1. Take crushed cinnamon and nutmeg and drop into the bottle of Beacon Whiskey. Let infuse for 2-3 days.
2. Slice apple thinly, starting at the bottom. Place the apple slice in the bottom of the glass and sprinkle with a pinch of brown sugar.
3. Pour cider and bourbon into a cocktail shaker. Sprinkle in another pinch of brown sugar. Shake well with ice.
4. Strain over the apple slice and top with hard cider.
