Across the region, find local eateries offering prix fixe brunch specials for a dine-in experience or a takeout package created for this special occasion. Don’t forget to make a reservation, because Mother’s Day is one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants. Newburgh

The award-winning farm-to-table restaurant is hosting a special Mother’s Day brunch event between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday. For $42.95 per person and $20.95 per child, locals can dine right on the Hudson River with an expansive buffet. The brunch options include buttermilk fried chicken, hickory smoked bacon, bagels and lox, fresh fruit, danishes, and much more. Guests will also have made-to-order options like eggs Benedicts, pancakes, and omelets.

Christopher Jacobs Winery at Pennings Vineyard

Pine Bush

For the mother who is also a wine aficionado, there’s no better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than with a date at a vineyard. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., guests can spend the day in the hills of the Hudson Valley at Christopher Jacobs Winery. Brunch is $70 for two to dine on fresh quiche, salad, dessert, and a tasting of five wines made from grapes grown on the estate. In addition, the brunch will have live music from 1-4 p.m. by Andrew Mercer, a guitar soloist. Tickets can purchased in advance online.

Diamond Mills Tavern 

Saugerties

Make it a memorable Mother’s Day with brunch over cascading falls at this gem of a restaurant in Saugerties. For $95 per person and $22 per child, diners can expect to try a dish from each of the four brunch stations. Choose between omelets with cage-free eggs, tofu scramble, seasonal vegetable quiche, or lobster bisque. Also try the vegan chicken and waffles entree or the local blueberry baked French toast. In addition to food, the brunch includes coffees, teas, soft drinks, mimosas, and a Bloody Mary station for those 21 and up. Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call to make reservations.

Ole Savannah

Show mom some Southern charm at Ole Savannah in Kingston. Enjoy a taste of the south right on the water with pick n’ lick shrimp, fried chicken, and pulled pork. Guests can also enjoy other Southern classics like mac n’ cheese, a carving station with beef brisket and prime rib, and scalloped potatoes. The delicious breakfast buffet will be served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is $29.95 per person, and kids 10 and under are $14.95 each. For unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys, it’s an additional $15 per person. Call to make a reservation.

Shadows on the Hudson 

Poughkeepsie 

It’s hard to find a better place to dine and enjoy views of the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie than Shadows on the Hudson. Indulge mom with a buffet of Belgian waffles, fresh omelets, warm apple cider donuts, and prime rib. P.S. Save a little room at the end to try the warm, homemade bread pudding. Brunch is $34.95 per person and $17.50 per child from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Ship to Shore 

Kingston

Make a toast to mom at Ship to Shore, right on Kingston’s waterfront. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can savor fresh fare like Ship to Shore’s tuna nicoise, grilled shrimp hash, and steak and eggs. Every dish is made to order and priced accordingly. Reservations are required and can be made by calling.

The Roundhouse 

Beacon 

Overlooking Beacon’s beautiful waterfall, The Roundhouse wants to treat mom to a sensational brunch. Locals can join this upscale affair between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Start light with deviled eggs or grilled slab bacon. Then dine on pernil plantain hash, steak and eggs, or the Roundhouse eggs Benedict. Finally, indulge in strawberry shortcake and a decadent lemon ricotta cheesecake. Reservations are required for the event and can be made online. A deposit of $20 per person is required to finalize the reservation. The deposit is refundable for reservations that are canceled more than 72 hours in advance. 

Stagecoach INN

Goshen

Impress mom with an elegant brunch at the award-winning Stagecoach Inn. Mom will be swept away by the delightful buffet and a complimentary glass of champagne or mimosa. Feast on a buffet featuring artisan cheeses and cured meats, smoked salmon, French toast, and a carving station. Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the brunch costs $75 per person, and children 12 and under are $25. Call to make a reservation.

To get your mom excited for her day of recognition, make reservations at Heritage Food + Drink. At this modern industrial restaurant, enjoy brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. With the purchase of any brunch menu item, guests can get bottomless mimosas for an additional $19. With an expansive menu, feel free to try the breakfast flatbread, avocado toast, or country Benedict, or satisfy your sweet tooth with the cereal-crusted French toast. 

Mill House Brewing Company

Poughkeepsie

Mill House Brewing Company knows how to do brunch and will leave mothers feeling full and satisfied. Brunch is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the food made to order and the prices listed on the menu. Whether you are looking for sweet or savory brunch options, this menu has you covered. Choose from options such as buttermilk pancakes, a breakfast sandwich, a breakfast bowl, a breakfast burrito, omelets, a B.L.T., or bang bang cauliflower.
