Ingredients
- 12 oz of cranberries
- 1/2 apple, chopped
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/4 tsp salt
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 orange flavored liqueur
- 1/4 water
- 1-2 scoops of walnuts, if desired
Method
- Place all ingredients except walnuts into a saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer until cranberries are “popped,” about 5-10 minutes.
- Add the walnuts and stir to combine. Transfer to a serving dish and chill. Sauce will thicken once temperature decreases.
