It’s the kind of place you’ll find dainty calla lilies at the center of your two-top and art you wish you could steal off the wall for your living room. And it’s also the kind of place you’ll discover your next favorite dish, drink, or drag act (the restaurant is known to host the occasional drag brunch). Mama Roux is a solid choice to dine for date night—at a great price point, we might add—or gather for grub with a group of your foodie friends.

We don’t know what’s better at Otto’s: the food or the atmosphere. It is housed inside a former gas station dating back to the ’20s, and the restaurant is named after a man who once owned and operated the business. Nowadays, it’s not your car but your stomach and soul which you can fuel at Otto’s. Note that the Restaurant Week menu is only offered on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

This newcomer keeps it simple with its Restaurant Week menu. The catch is its food is prepared from scratch, making its picks even more tempting. Even better, this is a great place to dine vegetarian, with options in every course on both menus. We personally believe two visits to this Westchester staple are necessary—how can you try one menu and not the other?

Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is back this October 28 to November 10!
