Pie On the Grill



Crescent roll dough or rolled out pie dough

Fruit of choice (fresh, frozen or canned pie filling)

Sugar for sprinkling, if desired

2 aluminum pie pans


Heat grill to 300-400°F

1. Roll out and place dough in pie pan. Fill with desired filling.

2. Flip the  edges of the dough over onto filling. It should not cover the whole top, just the edges.

3. Place one of the aluminum pie pans upside down on the grill. Place the pie with fillings on top of the upside down pan (so that it is not directly on the grill grates).  

4. Cook until fruit is caramelized and pie crust is golden brown, about 25 minutes.
