Modern became famous for its homemade Italian dinners and pasta dishes, as well as old fashioned brick oven pizza. Even before that, the Modern name originally came from a bread company established in 1920. Modern evolved into one of Westchester County’s first pizzerias and became a favorite spot for many Westchester residents to enjoy home-made food and great pizza in a casual, friendly environment.
