Toscana on Main, formerly Toscana Ristorante, was founded by Chef Michele who was born and raised in the picturesque Mola di Bari and brought a lifetime of culinary passion to Westchester over 15 years ago. Trained at the esteemed Armando Perotti Culinary Institute in Bari, Chef Michele embarked on a journey of culinary exploration, traveling throughout Italy to discover the purest flavors derived from the simplest ingredients.
With over 30 years of experience, Chef Michele shared his expertise, elevating fine Italian cuisine to new heights in Westchester until his recent retirement in late 2024.
Seeing the potential of the location and after a decade of running restaurants for other people, Phil, along with his wife Grace, decided to fulfil a lifelong dream of owning a restaurant of their own. Phil and Grace share a deep love for hospitality and a desire to create a dining experience that is both relaxed and refined.
