Summer picnics, takeout and patio dining allow Henry’s to feature the extraordinary produce of the Hudson Valley, serving fabulous summer meals on the tented Buttermilk Patio, as well. Henry’s at the Farm will continue to host your special events on-site, in an appropriately limited capacity.
We are preparing fabulous picnics for couples, family and friends, to be enjoyed at any number of Hudson Valley parks and woodlands, or in your own backyard.

Henry’s at the Farm
Henry’s at the Farm, tucked away in the Hudson Valley’s orchard and wine country – at Buttermilk Falls Inn + Spa – is thrilled to have reopened as an outdoor dining venue at the tented Buttermilk Inn Patio, with options for takeout and picnic dining, as well. Henry’s new menu and venue offer casual, contemporary American cuisine and sublime craft cocktails, using ingredients sourced steps away at Buttermilk’s own Millstone Farm.
Sourcing Organic Farms
Henry’s works primarily with those who practice organic farming and humane animal husbandry. Cheese, meats, and poultry come from nearby farms such as Coach Farm, Taliaferro Farms, John Fazio Farms, and the seventh generation owned and operated Hepworth Farm. Fine produce is available up and down our verdant Marlborough corridor! All along Route 9W our neighboring farms are preparing pick-up locations for their fruit, vegetable and beverage boxes. Support our local agro-businesses!
From Barn-to-Bar
The concept of farm-to-table is an integral part of Henry’s signature cocktails, taking full advantage of the organic herbs, vegetables, and fruits grown steps away at Millstone Farm. At Henry’s, it’s known as “Barn-to-Bar.” Notable examples may include the Buttermilk 75, a take on the 1915 classic French 75, with house-made lavender syrup, or the Millstone Farm Bee’s Knees, a Warwick Gin-based cocktail featuring a honey-based simple syrup from Millstone’s own apiary.
Strolling the Grounds
A stroll before or after dinner (see Property Protocols) is always on the menu in the bucolic setting that is Buttermilk’s Hudson River estate. A network of trails leads to breathtaking views of the Hudson River, rushing brooks, the property’s impressive namesake waterfalls and enchanting ponds. Don’t miss our Animal Sanctuary, where a contented family of livestock have made Millstone Farm their home—heritage chickens, peacocks, angora goats, llamas, alpacas, and miniature donkeys!
