Ingredients

2 ounces Taconic Distillery Rum
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
1 ounce Harney & Sons black tea
1⁄2 ounce Harney Sons earl grey simple syrup
orange peel

Method

  1. Glassware: rocks glass
  2. Fill shaker with ice
  3. Add rum, lemon juice, tea, and syrup. Shake well.
  4. Strain into rocks glass, then add a few of the rocks.
  5. Garnish with an orange peel.
  6. To make the simple syrup, boil equal parts of water and sugar, remove from the heat. Add earl grey tea bags and steep for an hour.
