Fans of fruit-heavy drinks will adore this concoction from The Garrison’s inventive mixologists. Cranberry, Bosc pear, Honeycrisp apple, lemon, and thyme play with sweet vermouth and any local bourbon or rye whiskey that has a bit of a bite to it. Wow your household with a thin apple slice garnish and cinnamon stick, both perfect toppers for this customizable cocktail. 

Ingredients

2oz Elixir (Organic Cranberry, Honeycrisp Apple, & Bosc Pear reductions w Fresh Thyme & Lemon. Stone fruits will also do nicely)

Half oz each fresh lime and fresh orange juice

Dash Bitters and Sweet Vermouth (like Carpano Antica Formulae)

3oz bourbon ( like Black Dirt 4 Yr, or a local rye can substitute)

Cinnamon stick and apple slice for garnish

Method

Combine Elixir with fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, a dash of bitters, and a dash of sweet vermouth in a cocktail shaker.

Shake three times then add the bourbon.

Serve in a chilled martini glass with a thin slice of apple and a cinnamon stick garnish.
