Winter calls for comfort. We asked The Valley Table team to name their favorite feel-good-foods, and, as you’d expect, everyone gave a different answer: mac and cheese, chicken soup, pasta, shortbread, a nutty cheese ball. Turns out it might not be about the food at all, as editor, Jerry Novesky,  notes “Maybe it’s not the food we find so comforting about comfort food, maybe it’s everything else – the closeness, the family, the memories.” Try some of these dishes, and we hope they bring you comfort.
